Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account data: email address, cryptographic password hash, email-verification status, sessions, and policy-acceptance records.
• Current profile data: name, profile picture, professional headline, location, phone details, professional summary, current role and company, years of experience, primary AI specialization, skills, and other information available through the current profile form.
• Legacy profile data: if you previously provided work experience, education, professional links, languages, job preferences, projects, or certifications before those profile fields were removed, those records may remain associated with your account until they are deleted.
• Resume data: uploaded PDF, DOC, or DOCX files and related file metadata.
• Contact and feedback messages: contact details you provide through the contact form, feedback star rating and message, delivery status, and associated technical information such as the source IP used for abuse prevention.
• Activity data: saved jobs, aggregate job-detail view counts, login/session activity, and security events.
• Technical data: IP address, approximate country, browser/device information, request logs, and cookie or local-storage preferences.
• Analytics data: website interactions collected through Google Analytics when enabled under our regional consent flow and your saved preference.
• Advertising data: when advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may process cookie identifiers, IP address, device and browser information, ad impressions, interactions, and information about visits to this or other websites.

2. Why we use information

We process information to create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, maintain profiles and resumes, provide saved jobs and filters, detect misuse, troubleshoot the service, communicate essential account messages, measure performance where permitted, display and measure advertising when enabled, comply with law, and improve AIJobFever.

3. Legal grounds

Depending on your location, processing may rely on performing our agreement with you, your consent, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests such as securing and improving the service. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. Cookies, local storage, analytics, and advertising

Necessary browser storage remembers authentication and essential preferences. Where prior consent is required, Google’s certified consent-management message or AIJobFever’s regional privacy prompt manages optional analytics and advertising choices. Google tags receive regional consent defaults before they load and update their behaviour after a choice. When storage is denied, Google restricts cookie use and may process limited, cookieless measurements. In other countries, optional services may be enabled without an initial banner, but you can change available choices through Cookie settings. Rejecting optional cookies does not limit access to jobs or account features.

When Google AdSense is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to AIJobFever or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve personalized ads based on visits to this website and other websites. Depending on your consent, location, and Google’s settings, ads may instead be non-personalized or contextual. Non-personalized ads may still use cookies or similar technologies for purposes such as frequency capping, aggregated reporting, and fraud prevention.

Other third-party advertising vendors or networks selected through Google may also use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. You can review the providers and purposes in the consent message shown where required. You can change or withdraw eligible choices using the Privacy and cookie settings control provided on the website.

5. Services that process data for us

• Amazon Web Services: application hosting and private, encrypted profile-picture and resume storage.
• Google Gmail SMTP: verification, password-reset, contact-message, and website-feedback email delivery.
• Google Analytics: usage measurement according to regional consent signals and your saved preference.
• Google AdSense: when enabled, delivery, personalization where permitted, measurement, security, and fraud prevention for advertising.
• Google and participating advertising vendors: where advertising is enabled, the providers disclosed through our consent-management message may process data for the purposes and legal bases displayed there.
• ipwho.is: approximate country detection from an IP address to support location-aware job discovery.
• Employers and job websites: when you choose an external application link, the destination independently receives information according to its own privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal data. Some privacy laws may define certain personalized-advertising disclosures as “sharing” or “targeted advertising”; where those laws apply, we provide the required choices.

6. International processing

Our providers and users may be located in different countries. Information may therefore be processed outside your state or country. We use reasonable contractual, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the service and applicable law.

7. Retention

Account and profile information is generally retained while your account remains active. When you permanently delete your account, we delete the active account, current and legacy profile records, saved jobs, active sessions, password-reset records, uploaded profile picture and resume, and the job-alert subscription associated with your account email. Contact enquiries and website feedback are maintained separately and are retained only as reasonably needed to respond, improve the service, prevent misuse, and maintain support records. Limited security records, consent records, and residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups or where retention is reasonably required for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. One-time codes and reset permissions expire quickly. Google controls retention of analytics and advertising data according to the applicable product configuration and its policies.

8. Security

We use password hashing, authenticated API access, expiring sessions, private encrypted object storage, short-lived download links, file validation, and transport encryption on the main website. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, restriction or objection to certain processing, withdrawal of consent, and grievance handling. You can edit the fields available in the current profile form, remove your resume, or permanently delete your account from Profile → Delete account. Account deletion requires your current password and an explicit confirmation and cannot be undone.

To access, correct, or delete legacy profile information that is no longer editable through the website without deleting the whole account, email aijobfever@gmail.com. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Where a consent message is presented, you can accept, refuse, or manage available purposes and vendors. You may later reopen Privacy and cookie settings to change or withdraw that choice. You can also manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.

10. Children

AIJobFever is intended for people aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly create accounts for children.

11. Updates

We may update this policy when our practices, providers, or legal responsibilities change. The latest version and effective date will appear here. Material changes may require account holders to acknowledge a new version at sign-in.
