About this role
Yara is accepting applications for remote US AI Engineer roles across its network of companies building with LLMs. The focus is taking agentic systems and LLM-powered products beyond demos into production. The listed salary range is $150K–$400K and varies by company.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship LLM-powered products used beyond the demo stage.
- Integrate LLMs with tools, evaluation and retrieval systems, applying strong engineering fundamentals to agent development.
- Stay current with new models, patterns and tooling, and help companies define new AI products.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Have shipped LLM-powered products used by real people and understand the difference between a simple wrapper and a complete system.
- Have production LLM integration experience involving tool calling, RAG, evaluations and observability.
- Be proficient in TypeScript, Python or Go; have shipped agentic products or substantial agentic side projects; and provide links to agentic projects built.
- Have experience at a startup or high-bar engineering organization, keep up with new models and tooling weekly, and want to work at leading AI companies.
