About this role
The AI Solutions & Finance Modeling Lead designs, builds and scales AI-powered planning solutions across Finance and Risk. The role develops agents that automate workflows, generate insights and improve the experience of finance users, supporting driver-based financial planning.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy AI agents using tools such as Claude Cowork, Microsoft Copilot Studio, OpenAI APIs and Azure AI Services. Build natural-language interfaces, scenario-modeling and variance-analysis tools, automated data collection and reporting workflows, and retrieval-augmented generation systems for context-aware financial insights. Train and fine-tune LLMs on Guardian-specific financial data and terminology.
- Develop predictive forecasting, trend-analysis and anomaly-detection models. Use external data to improve forecasts, generate narratives explaining budget-versus-actual differences, and incorporate sentiment analysis into planning models.
- Test, validate and monitor models; improve performance and reliability. Apply AI governance, regulatory and ethical requirements, including bias mitigation and explainability, and maintain model risk controls, audit trails and documentation.
- Partner with FP&A, Risk, IT and Data Science teams; train finance users, document tools, encourage adoption and mentor colleagues in AI tools, prompt engineering and human-AI collaboration.
Required qualifications
At least 2 years of experience with AI/ML technologies, including LLMs, prompt engineering and AI agents. Proficiency in Groovy scripting using AI coding assistants; experience with AI platforms, SQL, data integration tools and cloud AI services; familiarity with Python; and understanding of supervised learning, time series forecasting and NLP. Candidates should be able to build business chatbots, work with RAG and vector databases, evaluate and monitor models, and apply responsible AI practices. The role requires FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and financial-modeling knowledge, awareness of financial-planning controls, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and across teams.
Preferred, not required: At least 5 years of hands-on Oracle EPM Planning (PBCS/EPBCS) experience, including model design, business rules and integrations. Related work includes AI-enhanced planning models, scenario generation, data validation, dashboards and source-system integration. Financial services or insurance experience is also preferred.
This full-time role is hybrid, with three office days per week in NYC’s Hudson Yards or Stamford, CT, and two work-from-home days. The stated base salary range is $118,980.00–$195,465.00; incentive compensation may also apply.
