About this role
The Senior AI Analytics Engineer in Helen of Troy’s IT department drives the adoption and delivery of AI-enabled analytics across the enterprise. The role combines Microsoft AI technologies, business intelligence, analytics engineering and cloud data platforms to improve decisions, automate insight generation and deliver business value.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and deploy analytics solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph and related technologies. Develop AI assistants, copilots, retrieval-augmented generation solutions and agentic workflows that securely use enterprise data.
- Enable natural-language querying, automated insights, narrative reporting, KPI explanations, proactive alerts and business recommendations. Integrate solutions with Power BI, semantic models, governed datasets, enterprise APIs and cloud data platforms; use Python to prototype, validate and operationalize them.
- Support forecasting, anomaly detection, marketing analytics, social listening and enterprise insight generation. Establish evaluation frameworks, observability, monitoring, guardrails, security controls and deployment standards. Partner with business, BI, data engineering and platform teams; produce reusable patterns, documentation and best practices.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a listed technical or quantitative field or a related field; 8+ years delivering enterprise analytics, BI, data, cloud, software, automation or AI solutions; and 2+ years of hands-on AI/GenAI solution delivery, including production enterprise deployments.
- Experience with enterprise AI technologies; assistants, RAG, semantic search, agents or AI-enabled workflows; AI governance and secure deployment; Power BI or comparable BI solutions; and integration with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms. Strong Python and SQL skills and the ability to lead technical workstreams without direct people management are required. Domestic travel of up to 5% is required.
Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree. Highly desired experience includes MCP, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LangGraph, agent orchestration, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, CI/CD, MLOps, LLMOps, notebooks, distributed processing and Snowflake AI capabilities. Knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, forecasting or model evaluation, and experience in consumer products, retail, ecommerce, supply chain, marketing analytics or enterprise BI are also desired.
Work locations listed are El Paso, TX; Plano, TX; Arlington, TN; and Marlborough, MA. The standard hybrid schedule is in-office Tuesday–Thursday, with remote work available Monday and Friday, subject to eligibility and business needs.
