Senior Product Manager, AI & Analytics

About this role

Reporting to the Group Product Manager, AI & Analytics, this role owns the vision, strategy, discovery and execution of AI and analytics capabilities across Avigilon’s physical-security platform. The product manager will turn production-scale computer vision, object detection, vision-language models, generative workflows and agentic AI into useful operator experiences across video security and access control products.

Responsibilities

  • Set outcomes and drive a multi-quarter roadmap for assigned AI capabilities in partnership with AI research and engineering teams. Evaluate model accuracy, inference latency, compute costs, infrastructure scaling and edge-versus-cloud deployment trade-offs.
  • Interview customers, observe security workflows and analyze usage data to identify operational problems and define product requirements. Coordinate with video management software, access control, appliances and devices teams to create unified platform experiences.
  • Define and instrument metrics for adoption, field accuracy, inference reliability, engagement and business impact. Use findings to refine capabilities and support investment decisions.
  • Partner with Sales, Support, Training and Product Marketing on launches, customer enablement, technical value propositions and field feedback.

Required qualifications

A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of product management experience delivering software, cloud or enterprise solutions, including a demonstrated record of shipping AI/ML products at production scale. Candidates need a deep understanding of computer vision, deep learning, LLMs/VLMs and analytics workflows; fluency in model deployment and scale trade-offs; customer-discovery experience; and the ability to align technical and business stakeholders. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; employer work-permit sponsorship is unavailable.

Preferred qualifications

Production experience with VLMs, RAG, Model Context Protocol or multi-step AI agents; rapid AI prototyping; large-scale computer vision or video analytics in physical security, VMS or IoT environments; and cloud/on-premise or edge-to-cloud product architecture experience.

The target base salary is $150,000–$180,000. Travel is under 25%, and relocation is not provided. Listed U.S. benefits include incentive bonus plans, medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, 10 paid holidays, paid time off, an employee stock purchase plan and paid parental and family leave.
