About this role
EY-Parthenon seeks an AI/ML Engineer at the Senior Associate/Consultant level to build and maintain its advanced analytics platform and serve as a technical execution lead on client engagements. The role supports AI solutions for strategic growth initiatives and works with business leaders, data scientists, project managers, engineers, contractors and client executives.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into executable AI and agentic workflows, data pipelines and client-specific product specifications.
- Help define agent architectures integrating large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, multi-source data ingestion and analytics. Participate in model selection, feature design, embedding strategies and prompt frameworks.
- Design and build scalable, reproducible, versioned data pipelines; work through end-to-end project lifecycles with engineering teams.
Required qualifications
- Outstanding academic performance and either a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of related work experience or a graduate degree with approximately 18 months of related work experience.
- Familiarity with multimodal agent frameworks and RAG pipelines; knowledge of vector databases, retrieval systems and LLM fine-tuning. Strong understanding of structured-data merging, schema linking, model evaluation at scale and ML workflows from data ingestion through evaluation.
- Fluency in Python and PyTorch or TensorFlow; ability to architect APIs around ML models; demonstrated experience building and maintaining ML models, frameworks and pipelines. Strong communication with business and client stakeholders is required, as is willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary.
Preferred qualifications include production AI/ML product or feature deployment, startup or management/strategy consulting experience, knowledge of business uses of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.

EY describes a hybrid model in which most external client-serving employees work together in person 40–60% of the time over an engagement, project or year.
