Senior Data Scientist

The Senior Data Scientist will develop advanced AI, machine learning and generative AI solutions for Razer Gold, Razer’s payments business for games and digital content. The role works with AI engineers, data engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to address the needs of its gamer customer base.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into AI/ML and generative AI solution designs. Prepare data, train, optimize and evaluate models, and apply emerging generative AI technologies to improve process automation and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build robust AI pipelines and deploy solutions. Help design, develop and implement Razer Gold’s AI-powered products, solutions and platforms.
• Communicate findings and insights from AI-driven solutions to business leaders and technical teams.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning or a related field, with at least 2 years of working experience in the GenAI/AI/ML domain.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow; and solid knowledge of machine learning, deep learning and generative AI frameworks.
• Experience with prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning and evaluation, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic AI, MCP and reinforcement learning. Experience with cloud data platforms and cloud-based AI deployment on AWS, GCP or Azure; Spark, Hadoop or other distributed computing frameworks; and large-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders.

Preferred

Exposure to AI initiatives in fraud and financial-crimes compliance, or work experience in fintech, payments or fraud detection. The position is full-time in Singapore.
