Research Scientist - AI

NVIDIA Research Singapore seeks an AI researcher to develop and optimize efficient, GPU-accelerated AI models. The team works across language models, visual generation and robotics, with an emphasis on generative AI models that use computational resources efficiently. The role combines publishable research with opportunities to transfer technology to product groups.

Responsibilities

• Research, design and accelerate novel generative AI models; publish original research.
• Collaborate with research colleagues, other teams and external researchers.
• Mentor interns, speak at conferences and events, and transfer research to product groups.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience and a bachelor's, master's or PhD degree in computer science or electrical engineering, with a strong research track record.
• Excellent knowledge of LLMs and foundation models, publications at leading conferences such as CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV or NeurIPS, and excellent communication skills.
• Strong programming skills in a rapid-prototyping environment such as Python, plus knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.

Additional skills: C++ and parallel programming, such as CUDA, are a plus. This is a full-time position in Singapore, Pasir Panjang.
