About this role
AI Singapore seeks an AI engineer to support AI talent development in partnership with the SAF AI Centre (SAIC). The role focuses on strengthening the SAF workforce’s AI capabilities through training, technical mentorship and practical projects. The position is based at Kent Ridge Campus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver AI courses and programmes, including playbooks for operational users and material on common AI use cases within SAF.
- Mentor SAIC engineering teams through sprints or individual sessions, and capture feedback on the impact of knowledge sharing and technical problem-solving.
- Identify real-world AI projects that develop software engineering depth and machine learning pipeline skills in preparation for certification.
- Assist the Senior AI Engineer in developing and maintaining a job-skills-proficiency map and executing an AI engineer certification programme.
Qualifications
- A degree in computer science, engineering or data science, or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in software engineering, ML engineering or applied AI, including deploying models into production.
