About this role
Join the AWS Agentic AI science team to develop next-generation models for intelligent automation. Applied scientists partner with technology and business teams on customer problems, develop innovative research solutions, and publish findings at peer-reviewed conferences and workshops. The team seeks researchers with experience in one or more of autonomous agents, API orchestration, planning, large multimodal models—especially vision-language models—reinforcement learning, and sequential decision making. The listed job locations are Haifa and Tel Aviv, Israel.
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience building models for business applications.
- A PhD, or a master’s degree plus at least 3 years of experience in computer science, computer engineering, machine learning, or a related field.
- Patents or publications in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
- Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or a related language.
- Experience in at least one of algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience using Unix/Linux and experience in professional software development.
