Responsibilities
- Develop AI and ML strategies aligned with business objectives; assess emerging technologies, platforms, frameworks, and tools. Guide model development projects and AI technical explorations, including exposure to generative and agentic AI ecosystems.
- Partner with business stakeholders to deliver insights and intelligent solutions. Work with ML and systems engineers on scalable, optimized model deployment and proactively manage model performance after production.
- Manage data scientists’ performance, goals, skills development, training, staffing, and career progression. Guide project prioritization and resource allocation, mentor technical approaches, and collaborate with global partners and data science leaders to improve delivery practices and AI literacy.
Minimum qualifications: At least 12 years of overall experience, including at least 8 years providing data science solutions; a bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, or applied mathematics; and proven experience leading AI solution implementations. Requires people-management experience with teams of 8–10, technical mentorship, knowledge of ML algorithms, MLOps, data lineage and visualization, experience with Agile sprints, point estimation and daily stand-ups, and strong stakeholder management and storytelling skills. Preferred qualifications
Publications or contributions to the data science and AI community, and certifications in AI, machine learning, or related fields. Applicants must meet the minimum age qualifications in the country where the job is located.
