About this role
Netomi is hiring an Agentic Engineer Level II/III to build and scale tools and workflows for autonomous AI agents on its no-code platform for enterprise customer experience. This is a full-time, remote role in India.
Responsibilities
- Design high-quality prompts for LLM-based agents; GPT-class models are preferred.
- Build agentic tools and workflows, and integrate internal and external APIs with authentication, data mapping, and error handling.
- Write unit tests, debug issues, and improve workflow reliability. Apply engineering patterns including retries, timeouts, idempotency, and lazy loading; optimize agents for performance, cost, and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and Delivery teams to ship production-grade agentic solutions.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering and LLM behavior; hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON-based integrations.
- Solid unit-testing, debugging, and troubleshooting experience, plus knowledge of resilient system design and handling non-happy paths.
Nice to have: Experience with no-code or low-code automation platforms, such as platforms comparable to Workato, Zapier, or n8n; exposure to agentic AI, conversational AI, or workflow orchestration; and familiarity with production observability and monitoring.
