Senior Software Engineer

Bentley Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a global team focused on developing next-generation cloud and AI applications for infrastructure digital twins. The role involves end-to-end design and implementation of AI-enabled cloud systems, from problem definition to production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy full-stack machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI solutions.
• Apply advanced methods including ensemble models, representation learning, transfer learning, and RAG.
• Design and optimize LLM-based systems, including assistants, copilots, and automation workflows.
• Lead prompt engineering, fine-tuning strategies, embedding pipelines, and retrieval systems.
• Build agentic AI components such as MCP servers, skills, and agents.
• Integrate AI solutions into web applications using Node.js, React.js, and .Net.
• Collaborate on cloud deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise-grade requirements for reliability, security, observability, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: BE/MS/ME/MTech, preferably in Computer Science & Engineering.
• Experience: 8+ years of strong development experience, including at least 3 years with .Net web frameworks and React, and 3-4 years in AI/ML solutions development.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in Generative AI and LLM systems, including tools like OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LangGraph, and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma). Expert-level Python skills with data engineering libraries (NumPy, Pandas) and proficiency in TypeScript.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to mentor others and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
