Enterprise Software Engineer (Python, Azure/AWS, Gen AI)

Wolters Kluwer is seeking an experienced Enterprise Software Engineer to join their team, focusing on cloud-based, AI-powered solutions. The role involves building scalable, production-grade software and integrating advanced AI technologies into professional workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise-grade software using Python, Java, NodeJS, or Ruby.
• Design and optimize AI agent workflows and evaluate AI tool usage for team productivity.
• Establish validation standards for AI-generated code and lead responsible AI initiatives.
• Implement event-driven architectures and streaming solutions using tools like Kafka, Kinesis, and Azure Service Bus.
• Contribute to shared Terraform modules and maintain internal design standards.
• Manage automated deployments via CI/CD pipelines and oversee service operationalization.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in enterprise software and cloud development.
• Proficiency in FastAPI/Django, React/TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, SOLID Principles, and cloud resiliency.
• Experience with AI/ML services, specifically Azure OpenAI and LLM integration patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Advanced/Professional Technical Certificate in Azure, AWS, or Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.

Working Arrangement:

• This is a hybrid role requiring 8 days per month in the office. Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process. The company emphasizes a fair hiring process and prohibits the use of AI tools or external prompts during interviews.
