About this role
Edwards Lifesciences seeks an architect for its IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India, to serve as the enterprise technical authority for Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio) and Moveworks. The role combines platform leadership, integration design and end-to-end architecture for AI agents, copilots and automation, working alongside the Azure infrastructure architect.
Responsibilities
- Own both platforms’ architecture, ecosystem blueprints, standards, extensibility patterns and long-term roadmaps. Evaluate new features, plugins, connectors and agentic AI capabilities.
- Design and govern secure, scalable integrations with systems including ServiceNow, Workday, JDE, Active Directory, HRIS, LMS and CMDB. Define API, event-driven, connector and messaging patterns in partnership with the Azure architecture team.
- Lead solution design and architecture reviews; approve decisions and ensure solutions meet production, security and enterprise standards. Translate business requirements into reusable designs.
- Establish development, security and operational practices; maintain reference designs, integration maps and documentation. Train and mentor engineers and developers, and assess emerging multi-agent, RAG and tool-using-agent approaches.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related technical field; progressive IT experience with substantial platform, integration or solution architecture depth, including an architect role on complex or enterprise implementations.
- Deep expertise in either the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem or Moveworks; strong REST/GraphQL API, event-driven architecture, connector, middleware and messaging skills; and experience designing enterprise AI, automation or digital workplace solutions.
- Experience establishing enterprise standards and governance; understanding of identity, security and compliance; strong documentation, communication, leadership, negotiation and vendor-management skills.
Preferred
Hands-on Copilot Studio or Moveworks development; multi-agent orchestration, RAG, tool-using agents or planner-executor models; enterprise-system integrations; Microsoft Power Platform; AI deployment in regulated industries with responsible AI governance; an advanced related degree; Azure, Microsoft 365 or TOGAF certifications; and experience mentoring engineers.
