Data Scientist

Thales is seeking a Data Scientist to develop scalable AI solutions, intelligent data products and business insights using advanced analytics and Generative AI. The full-time role is based in Noida, India, with 40 working hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy regression, classification, segmentation and other machine learning models. Explore data, engineer features, evaluate models and develop predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions.
• Design end-to-end machine learning pipelines on Databricks; process large-scale data with PySpark and SQL; and build ETL pipelines using Databricks and Delta Lake.
• Deploy models on GCP infrastructure and collaborate with business teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of experience in Data Science, AI or Machine Learning, including hands-on Databricks experience and production machine learning model development.
• Skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, machine learning, Databricks, data analysis and problem solving.
• B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, AI, Data Science, Statistics or a related field. The ideal candidate is analytical, business-focused, self-driven and innovative, with strong collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred skills: GCP, Generative AI, LLMs, BigQuery, MLflow, RAG, prompt engineering, MLOps and CI/CD.
