The Senior Data Scientist will join the Analytics-Risk department at Aditya Birla Capital Limited in Mumbai. This role focuses on translating complex business problems into actionable data science and analytics solutions, specifically within the financial services domain. Responsibilities include building statistical models and algorithms, mentoring junior data scientists and analysts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Policy, Credit, Collections, Operations, and Product. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Bureau data and demonstrate expertise in implementing AI and machine learning algorithms. Key requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, along with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience. Technical proficiency in R, Python, or SAS, as well as experience with data visualization tools and big data technologies like Spark and Databricks, is essential. Candidates must have a strong mathematical and statistical foundation in algorithms such as GBM, Logistic Regression, Linear Regression, and Deep Learning.
