The Senior Data Scientist will join the Analytics-Risk department at Aditya Birla Capital Limited in Mumbai. This role focuses on translating complex business problems into actionable data science and analytics solutions, specifically within the financial services domain. Responsibilities include building statistical models, implementing AI and machine learning algorithms, and managing bureau data. The incumbent will mentor junior data scientists and analysts while collaborating with cross-functional teams including Policy, Credit, Collections, Operations, and Product. Key requirements include expert coding skills in R, Python, or SAS, proficiency in data visualization tools, and a strong mathematical and statistical understanding of algorithms such as GBM, Logistic Regression, Linear Regression, and Deep Learning. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. The position requires 4 to 7 years of experience. The role is based at R-Tech Park, Goregaon, Mumbai.
