The Data Scientist role at Aditya Birla Capital Limited involves translating complex business problems into actionable data science and analytics solutions. The successful candidate will work within the Risk - Analytics department to build statistical models and algorithms, leveraging expertise in AI and machine learning. Key responsibilities include: Responsibilities: - Brainstorm, research, and implement new and existing AI and machine learning algorithms. - Build statistical models using R, Python, Spark, and Databricks. - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Policy, Credit, Collections, Operations, and Product teams. - Mentor and provide training to junior data scientists and analysts. - Ensure high data quality and zero-error reporting. - Utilize bureau data to drive insights. Qualifications: - Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field is required. - 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. - Strong mathematical and statistical understanding of machine learning algorithms such as GBM, Logistic Regression, Linear Regression, and Deep Learning. - Expert coding skills in R, Python, or SAS, along with proficiency in data visualization tools. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment aligned with the company's core values of Speed, Passion, Integrity, and Seamlessness.
