VTION - Data Scientist

VTION seeks a full-time Data Scientist in Gurgaon/Gurugram to work across business analytics, data engineering and behavioral modeling. The role focuses on turning consumer behavioral data into marketing and user insights that support business decisions. VTION describes its broader data-intelligence products as using fine-tuned large language models, vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Clean and transform behavioral data, engineer features, and support development of behavioral data models.
• Help engineering teams build and automate data pipelines. Conduct exploratory analyses and produce cohort insights and trend reports for strategic decisions.
• Contribute to real-time dashboards and visualizations for internal and client use with tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Plotly.
• Work on classification, clustering and segmentation models using Python, scikit-learn, pandas and NumPy.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and product teams on scalable solutions; participate in sprint reviews, brainstorming and post-analysis reviews.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of data science experience, including at least 3 years leading high-performing teams. The page header separately displays a 2–5-year range.
• Python, including pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn and matplotlib; SQL for querying; and exposure to cloud platforms, with AWS and GCP preferred.
• Ability to translate business problems into data questions; understanding of basic statistics, experiment design and metrics interpretation; strong communication, collaboration and willingness to learn. Structured posting metadata lists a bachelor's degree.

Bonus familiarity: Git, Airflow, dbt or vector databases.
