01

Understand the role

What matters most

  • Build and enhance enterprise applications

The role develops new modules and improves an existing application portfolio using ASP.NET Core, C# and Blazor. Prepare to explain application design choices and how you build responsive, usable interfaces.

  • Modernize legacy applications

Migration to modern .NET technologies is an explicit responsibility. Prepare to discuss how you would assess dependencies, preserve existing behavior and verify a migration.

  • Develop integrations and data access

The posting calls for RESTful APIs, integration services, distributed messaging with Azure Service Bus, and MS SQL Server performance work. Prepare to explain interface design, message handling and how you investigate slow queries.

  • Contribute to AI-enabled features

Designing AI-enabled features is a responsibility; experience with Azure AI, OpenAI APIs or similar platforms is a plus, not a stated requirement. Prepare to explain how an AI feature could fit an enterprise workflow without presenting a particular platform as mandatory.

  • Deliver reliable work across teams

The role involves translating business workflows with cross-functional teams, testing, code reviews, debugging and Agile progress updates. Prepare an example of clarifying requirements, finding a defect and communicating the outcome.

Likely challenges to think through

  • Changing software while preserving behavior

A likely challenge is balancing new modules and modernization against support for the existing portfolio; the posting does not describe a specific migration problem. Prepare a phased approach with behavior checks, tests and a way to diagnose regressions.

  • Keeping integrations dependable

APIs, messaging and database operations can introduce trade-offs between responsiveness, consistency and implementation complexity. Prepare to reason through failure handling, duplicate messages and performance checks, without assuming a particular system design.

  • Making AI features useful and testable

Because AI-enabled business solutions are part of the role, a plausible difficulty is fitting variable AI output into established workflows. Prepare to discuss where human review, fallback behavior and evaluation would be appropriate; these are preparation considerations, not confirmed company practices.
