About this role
The LLM Model Developer fine-tunes large language models through instruction fine-tuning and domain adaptation to improve their relevance and performance for specific applications. The role also involves designing and delivering enterprise-grade solutions using Generative and Agentic AI.
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to analyze model outputs, iterate on training processes and improve model effectiveness in real-world settings.
- Assess model performance regularly and recommend improvements. Apply AI evaluation approaches and keep current with developments in model development.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, manage and mentor team members, make team decisions, contribute to decisions across teams and solve problems beyond the immediate team.
- Lead AI solution design and delivery to address business challenges, automate processes and integrate intelligent insights into enterprise workflows, with attention to scalability, responsible use and business value.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience are required; the posting also specifies a minimum of 5 years in large language models and lists an experience range of 5–10 years.
- Proficiency in LLMs; understanding of natural language processing, model evaluation metrics and performance tuning; familiarity with Python and TensorFlow or PyTorch; and ability to work with large datasets and perform data preprocessing.
- Understanding of Generative and Agentic AI, prompt engineering and AI evaluation frameworks. Fifteen years of full-time education are required.
