Understand the role

What matters most

  • Driving Product Adoption and Value Realization

The role requires moving beyond feature delivery to ensure products like Gateway and SKU Solver are indispensable to daily business operations. You must demonstrate how you track usage metrics, gather user feedback, and iterate to ensure tools directly improve decision-making speed and clarity.

  • Translating Complex Business Needs into Scalable Solutions

You are expected to bridge the gap between complex organizational workflows and intuitive product design. This involves challenging unnecessary complexity and ensuring that every product enhancement is grounded in practical business impact rather than technical experimentation.

  • Leading AI and Automation Integration

As the first-line product lead for AI, you must identify where AI or intelligent automation provides genuine leverage. This requires coordinating across data science, legal, and compliance teams to deploy solutions that are not only innovative but also secure, validated, and aligned with enterprise standards.

  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management

Success depends on influencing diverse global stakeholders, including commercial, medical, and technology partners. You must be able to communicate complex technical strategies to senior leadership while managing vendor performance and coaching an India-based pod to maintain high delivery standards.

Likely challenges to think through
