Micron Technology seeks a Senior AI Engineer for its Smart Manufacturing & AI (SMAI) organization in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The role develops and deploys secure, scalable AI-enabled enterprise applications intended to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, productivity, and digital transformation.
Responsibilities
- Design cloud-enabled, full-stack applications and integrate Generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation into business solutions.
- Build responsive interfaces with Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS, and develop backend services, APIs, and microservices using .NET technologies.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify automation and process-improvement opportunities. Contribute to enterprise architecture, application modernization, and technology roadmaps.
- Implement CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment automation. Analyze performance, usage metrics, and system health to improve reliability and scalability.
- Coordinate with architecture, security, infrastructure, and operations teams on enterprise standards; mentor team members and promote engineering excellence.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience with C#, .NET, Web APIs, and enterprise application development; proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, and Material Design.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as SQL Server, Cosmos DB, or MongoDB; knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control.
- Familiarity with Generative AI, AI/ML concepts, LLMs, AI services, or intelligent automation, plus experience with Azure or Google AI Services, OpenAI, Agentic AI, MCP, or modern AI frameworks. Understanding of application security, performance optimization, and cloud-native architectures.
Preferred qualifications include ETL and integration tools such as NiFi or SSIS; semiconductor manufacturing, engineering, quality, or operations knowledge; Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures; and strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
