01

Understand the role

What matters most

  • Lead AI from development to deployment

The role leads data preparation, model training, fine-tuning and deployment strategy, with the goal of turning experimental models into production-grade capabilities. Prepare to explain how you would make technical decisions across that lifecycle.

  • Build scalable data pipelines

The posting calls for pipelines that curate and cleanse large-scale structured and unstructured data for machine learning and foundation-model training. Prepare to discuss data-quality checks and scaling choices.

  • Architect agentic workflows and RAG

The role builds agentic workflows for automation and decision-making and architects RAG using semantic search, embeddings, re-ranking and optimized document retrieval. Prepare to explain the purpose of each component and how you would assess its contribution.

  • Establish evaluation standards

The posting explicitly calls for benchmarks covering accuracy, reliability, safety and performance. Prepare to describe how you would compare approaches and decide whether a solution is ready to deploy.

  • Coordinate cloud-native delivery

The AI Engineering team works with architects, data engineers, cloud specialists and business stakeholders on enterprise solutions and cloud-native deployments. Prepare to explain how you would align technical design with business goals and deployment constraints.

Likely challenges to think through

  • Balancing model quality with production constraints

A likely trade-off, not a stated employer problem, is that a more capable model or fine-tuning approach may increase deployment complexity or slow performance. Prepare a decision framework comparing measured quality, reliability and operational performance.

  • Maintaining retrieval quality across varied data

Because the role covers structured and unstructured data plus advanced RAG, inconsistent source quality could make retrieval less reliable. Prepare to explain how cleansing, retrieval tests and re-ranking comparisons would help locate failures.

  • Controlling agentic workflow behavior

Automation and decision-making workflows may require a balance between autonomy and safety; the posting does not describe a specific failure. Prepare to discuss task boundaries, evaluation cases and when a workflow should defer a decision.

  • Aligning stakeholders on deployment decisions

Working across business, architecture, data and cloud specialties may involve competing goals rather than a single definition of success. Prepare an example approach for agreeing on benchmarks, ownership and deployment trade-offs before implementation.
