The Lead Business Process Engineer (Process Automation) - Officer will join Alpha Intelligence, State Street’s AI & Automation Center of Excellence. This role focuses on transforming complex processes for Alpha Implementations by designing future-state workflows and enabling AI and automation solutions to improve speed, control, and client outcomes. Responsibilities include conducting process discovery through interviews and system observation, mapping current-state processes, and designing standardized future-state processes. You will structure and tag content for RAG and agent use, define requirements for automation and AI implementation, and support rollout and continuous improvement. Required experience includes 10 to 15 years in business process analysis, operations, or automation delivery within financial services, with a strong understanding of investment management or capital markets. Proficiency in process mapping tools (BPMN, Visio, ARIS) and automation platforms like UiPath is essential, alongside a solid grasp of AI and GenAI concepts. A Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Finance, or Management is required. Preferred qualifications include certifications in Lean Six Sigma, BPM, or UiPath. The role requires strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders across different time zones.
