AI & Governance – Technical Manager

Bilvantis Technologies seeks an AI & Governance – Technical Manager to lead AI adoption and process transformation across Security in a PCI DSS- and GDPR-governed environment. The role aligns initiatives with the Group Security North Star strategy and Security Roadmap while delivering measurable productivity gains and protecting sensitive data. Responsibilities

• Manage the AI transformation portfolio and adoption roadmap, identify and scale high-value use cases, remove technical and organisational barriers, and lead projects across scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks and benefits realisation.
• Oversee agentic AI initiatives involving autonomous tasks and decision support. Establish ethical guardrails, monitoring, containment and human-in-the-loop requirements; validate outcomes before safe production deployment.
• Lead AI-enabled process improvements and build adoption through training, communications, webinars, tech talks and communities of practice. Define KPIs and OKRs, track adoption and value, and report progress to leadership.
• Work with security leaders, the CISO office, product, engineering, Information Security and Data Privacy teams. Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, GDPR and internal policies; protect cardholder and personal data through classification, handling and protection standards, and embed security-by-design and privacy-by-design.

Required qualifications

• 12–15 years of overall professional experience, including a strong record managing technology or transformation projects or programmes; experience delivering AI, digital or productivity-led transformation at scale and managing portfolios across cross-border teams and business units.
• Practical understanding of enterprise AI and GenAI tools and their integration into workflows; experience in payments technology and/or information security; working knowledge of PCI DSS, GDPR and data protection.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, influencing, analytical and change management skills; experience defining KPIs and OKRs and measuring benefits. Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision, adapt to changing priorities and operate with strong governance in a regulated environment.

Preferred

Exposure to responsible AI, AI governance or risk frameworks; familiarity with North Star and OKR-based strategic execution; and experience creating AI champion networks or communities of practice.
