S&C Global Network - AI - Life Sciences -Data Science Consultant

Accenture seeks a data science consultant for healthcare and life sciences projects in Bangalore or Gurgaon. The full-time role is listed at the Team Lead/Consultant level with 5–10 years of experience. The consultant will use analytics and AI to advise global clients, support business transformation, and develop solutions for life sciences challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide data-driven recommendations, manage client communications, and present project findings and domain expertise to stakeholders.
• Design and implement generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic AI, and traditional AI and machine learning solutions. Build and deploy statistical and machine learning models, including segmentation and predictive models.
• Deliver consulting work independently or within small to medium-sized teams, spanning strategy, implementation, process design, change management, data engineering, data science, and business intelligence.
• Assess operating models, competitive responses, implementation readiness, and opportunities for impact. Help develop proposals, methodologies, research, points of view, and client deliverables; engage stakeholders in transformational change.

Qualifications and skills:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in statistics, data science, applied mathematics, business analytics, computer science, information systems, or another quantitative field. The posting also specifies 4+ years delivering life sciences, pharma, or healthcare projects.
• Extensive experience creating and deploying generative and agentic AI solutions; knowledge of commercial, clinical, real-world evidence, and electronic medical record data, including datasets such as Komodo, RAVE, IQVIA, Truven, and Optum.
• Hands-on statistical modeling and machine learning experience, including hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, time series methods, and optimization. Python, SQL, AI/ML, generative AI, RAG, agentic AI, and visualization with Power BI or Tableau are listed as must-have skills. Experience managing large datasets and using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to deploy and scale language models is requested.
