Accenture seeks a Data Science Consultant for its AI-focused life sciences and healthcare consulting work. The full-time role is listed for Bangalore/Gurgaon at Team Lead/Consultant level, with 5–10 years of experience. The posting also describes the job as an AI Healthcare Analytics Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Advise global clients using data-driven recommendations and manage client communications, project objectives and progress updates.
• Design and implement generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI and traditional AI/ML solutions for healthcare and life sciences business challenges.
• Deliver consulting projects independently or with small to medium-sized teams, contributing to strategy, implementation, process design, change management, data engineering and data science.
• Apply knowledge of life sciences datasets and business intelligence tools to develop analytics solutions and present findings to stakeholders. Contribute to operating models, implementation-readiness assessments, proposals, research, methodologies and client presentations.

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or another quantitative field.
• Extensive generative AI expertise and a record of creating and deploying generative and agentic AI solutions. At least 4 years of successful Life Sciences, Pharma or Healthcare project experience is specified within the broader 5–10-year experience range.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical commercial, clinical, real-world evidence (RWE) and electronic medical record (EMR) data; hands-on experience with relevant datasets such as Komodo, RAVE, IQVIA, Truven or Optum.
• Experience building and deploying statistical and machine learning models, including segmentation, predictive modeling, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, time series techniques and optimization. Proficiency in Python and SQL, experience handling large datasets, and experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud for deploying and scaling language models are requested.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, writing, communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred skills include R, Spark, Databricks, visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView or Spotfire, and the ability to apply design thinking and business process optimization. The posting highlights work with global pharmaceutical clients and personalized consulting training.
