S&C Global Network - AI - Life Sciences -Data Science Consultant

Accenture seeks a data science consultant for its AI and life sciences work in Bangalore or Gurgaon. The full-time role is listed at Team Lead/Consultant level with 5–10 years of experience. It combines healthcare and pharmaceutical analytics with client-facing strategy and implementation work.

Responsibilities

• Advise global clients using data-driven recommendations, manage client communications and present findings to stakeholders.
• Design and implement generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI and traditional AI/ML solutions for healthcare and life sciences challenges.
• Deliver consulting projects independently or with small to medium-sized teams, contributing to strategy, implementation, process design and change management. Collaborate across data engineering, data science and business intelligence.
• Apply life sciences domain expertise to analytics solutions; develop methodologies, research, points of view or white papers. Support operating-model assessments, proposals, business development and transformational change plans.

Qualifications and skills:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or another quantitative field. At least 4 years of successful Life Sciences, Pharma or Healthcare project experience is specified alongside the role’s 5–10-year overall experience listing.
• Extensive generative AI expertise and a record of creating and deploying generative and agentic AI solutions. Hands-on experience building and deploying statistical and machine learning models, including segmentation, predictive modeling, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, time series techniques and optimization.
• Understanding of commercial, clinical, real-world evidence and electronic medical record data; experience with relevant datasets such as Komodo, RAVE, IQVIA, Truven or Optum. Ability to work with large datasets and communicate insights.
• Must-have skills include Python, SQL and visualization with Power BI or Tableau. Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud for deploying and scaling language models is requested. Strong analytical, problem-solving, writing, communication and presentation skills are also required.
