Accenture seeks a Data Science Consultant for healthcare and life sciences consulting projects. The posting lists Bangalore/Gurgaon as the location, a full-time arrangement and 5–10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise global clients using data-driven recommendations; manage client communications, project objectives and progress updates.
• Design and implement generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI and traditional AI/ML solutions for healthcare and life sciences business challenges.
• Deliver consulting work individually or with small to medium-sized teams, drawing on data engineering, data science and business intelligence. Work may include strategy, implementation, process design and change management.
• Apply life sciences subject-matter expertise, design thinking and business process optimization; develop methodologies, research, points of view and other reusable materials. Support operating-model assessments, proposals, stakeholder engagement and client presentations.

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or another quantitative field.
• Extensive generative AI expertise and a record of creating and deploying generative AI and agentic AI solutions. At least 4 years of experience delivering life sciences, pharma or healthcare projects.
• Understanding of commercial, clinical, real-world evidence and electronic medical record datasets; hands-on experience with sources such as Komodo, RAVE, IQVIA, Truven or Optum.
• Experience building and deploying statistical and machine learning models, including segmentation, predictive modeling, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, time series techniques and optimization. Proficiency with Python and SQL; ability to handle large datasets and communicate findings to stakeholders. Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud for deploying and scaling language models.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, writing, communication and presentation skills. The posting also lists visualization with Power BI or Tableau among must-have skills.
