Accenture seeks a consultant for AI and data science work in healthcare and life sciences. The full-time role is listed at management level 9 (Team Lead/Consultant), with Bangalore/Gurgaon given as the location and 5–10 years of experience listed in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Advise global clients using data-driven recommendations; manage client communications, project objectives and progress updates.
• Design and implement generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI and traditional AI/machine learning solutions for healthcare and life sciences challenges. Develop analytics using life sciences datasets and domain knowledge.
• Deliver consulting projects independently or with small to medium-sized teams, contributing to strategy, implementation, process design and change management. Work across data engineering, data science and business intelligence.
• Assess operating models, competitive responses and implementation readiness; develop methodologies, research and points of view. Support proposals and business development, present findings, and engage stakeholders in transformational change.

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or another quantitative field. The posting calls for extensive generative AI expertise and a record of creating and deploying generative and agentic AI solutions, plus 4+ years delivering Life Sciences, Pharma or Healthcare projects.
• Understand commercial, clinical, real-world evidence and electronic medical record data. Experience with relevant sources includes Komodo, RAVE, IQVIA, Truven and Optum. Apply statistical and machine learning methods including segmentation, predictive modeling, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, time series techniques and optimization.
• Must-have skills are GenAI, RAG, agentic AI, Python, SQL, AI/ML and visualization with Power BI or Tableau. Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud for deploying and scaling language models is requested. Strong analytical, communication, writing, presentation and stakeholder-facing skills are required.
• Good-to-have skills include R, Spark, Databricks, design thinking and business process optimization; experience with visualization tools such as QlikView or Spotfire is also valued.
