Accenture seeks a consultant in its AI and life sciences practice to deliver data-driven recommendations and analytics solutions for healthcare, pharmaceutical and life sciences clients. The posting lists a 5–10 year experience range, a full-time role, and a location of Bangalore/Gurgaon.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI and traditional AI/ML approaches for business challenges. Build and deploy statistical and machine-learning models, including segmentation and predictive models, and communicate findings from large datasets.
• Support global consulting projects, independently or within small to medium-sized teams. Advise clients, manage project communications, and collaborate across data engineering, data science and business intelligence.
• Contribute to strategy, implementation, process design and change management; assess operating models, implementation readiness and competitive responses. Help develop proposals, methodologies, research and presentations, and engage stakeholders in transformation plans.

Qualifications and skills:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or another quantitative field. The posting also specifies 4+ years of successful Life Sciences, Pharma or Healthcare project experience.
• Extensive generative AI expertise and a record of creating and deploying generative AI and agentic AI solutions. Required skills include Python, SQL, AI/ML, RAG and visualization with Power BI or Tableau.
• Understanding of commercial, clinical, real-world evidence and electronic medical record data; hands-on experience with relevant datasets such as Komodo, RAVE, IQVIA, Truven or Optum. Experience with statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, time series techniques and optimization, and with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud for deploying and scaling language models.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, writing, communication and presentation skills. R, Spark, Databricks, additional visualization tools, design thinking, business process optimization and stakeholder management are listed as advantageous.
