About this role
The Deployment Lead will build AI-native, enterprise integration products on the SAP BTP Integration Suite. This role combines strong integration engineering fundamentals with agentic AI patterns, including LLMs, tools, retrieval, and evaluation. The focus is on creating and operating production-grade integrations across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid landscapes, while augmenting the integration lifecycle with intelligent capabilities such as automated iFlow generation, mapping recommendations, anomaly detection, and conversational troubleshooting. Core responsibilities include designing end-to-end integration scenarios, developing iFlows with complex transformation logic, managing API security and lifecycle, and implementing AI-driven operational experiences. The role requires building integration agents that validate flows against enterprise standards and implementing retrieval-grounded assistance for mapping and configuration. Candidates must have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience and 15 years of full-time education. Key technical requirements include hands-on expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite, scripting (Groovy), and API design. The role emphasizes owning AI behavior in the integration layer, including grounding, safety, and evaluation, rather than just AI-assisted development.
