Delivery Lead - AI & Data

About this role

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex AI and data programs in India (Gurgaon/Delhi/NCR), from kickoff through production operations. This full-time, hands-on technical leadership role is accountable for outcomes within signed scope, budget and timelines, including production agentic AI solutions, data platforms and modernization programs.

Responsibilities

  • Govern one or more concurrent programs through sprint cadences, steering committees, risk registers, change control and delivery dashboards. Manage estimates, resources, dependencies and blockers; lead cross-functional teams typically comprising 10–30 data engineers, AI/ML engineers, cloud architects and business analysts.
  • Oversee ingestion pipelines, transformations, semantic models and analytics APIs. Guide agent orchestration, tool integrations, prompt-engineering governance and guardrails; conduct architecture reviews, technical spikes and quality gates. Promote CI/CD, data observability, lineage and testing.
  • Deliver migrations and modernization, including schema mapping, ETL/ELT, cutover planning, reconciliation and go-live. Serve as the day-to-day client contact, communicate progress and trade-offs to senior stakeholders, and identify opportunities for additional work through delivery.

Required qualifications

  • 10+ years in data engineering, AI/ML or analytics, including at least 4 years in delivery leadership or program management. The separate Job Info section lists experience as 9–12 years.
  • A record of delivering complex, multi-workstream AI and data programs in services or consulting; experience managing distributed India and offshore/onshore teams; strong client-facing communication.
  • Hands-on expertise with cloud data warehouses, lakehouse architectures and orchestration tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Delta Lake, Airflow and dbt. Working knowledge of LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, multi-agent systems and enterprise deployment patterns.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

Preferred

Insurance experience across P&C, life and annuities, claims, policy or underwriting data; legacy decommissioning, cloud lift-and-shift or greenfield builds; insurance data frameworks, regulatory reporting and ACORD standards; or relevant AWS/Azure Data, Databricks, Snowflake, PMP or SAFe certifications. The role involves collaboration with US-based engagement leads and global architects.
