Role Purpose: Siemens Energy is seeking an entry-level AI/Machine Learning Engineer to join the Digital Products and Solutions team in Gurgaon. The role focuses on building and maintaining machine learning solutions, supporting data pipelines, and integrating AI capabilities into industrial applications to drive business outcomes. Responsibilities: You will assist in developing ML and basic Generative AI pipelines, including data preprocessing, training, evaluation, and inference. You will support the creation of RAG-based and NLP workflows, perform text processing tasks such as data cleaning and chunking, and contribute to backend API development using frameworks like FastAPI. Additionally, you will write modular Python code, integrate models into applications, and participate in deployment and debugging activities. Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. The role requires 6 months to 1 year of experience or a strong academic/project background in AI/ML. Essential skills include proficiency in Python, strong problem-solving abilities, and a foundational understanding of ML concepts, NLP, and model evaluation. Familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, or PyTorch/TensorFlow is required, along with knowledge of Git and software development practices. Preferred qualifications include exposure to Generative AI concepts (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG), backend development, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
