01

Understand the role

What matters most

  • Agentic AI Integration for NOC/SOC Operations

The core mandate is to drive autonomous network transformation. You must demonstrate how to architect Agentic AI solutions that specifically address MTTR reduction, alert-noise suppression, and faster triage within complex NOC/SOC environments.

  • Strategic Architecture and Target Operating Models

You are expected to define the technical blueprints and operating models for large-scale telecom transformation. This requires balancing high-level strategic vision with the practicalities of cloud-native integration, data quality, and security compliance.

  • Commercial Governance and FinOps Leadership

Beyond technical delivery, you must own the financial aspects of the transformation. This includes managing cloud consumption, tracking budgets, and providing visibility into cost-to-serve metrics to ensure the program delivers measurable executive value.

  • Stakeholder Management and GTM Support

You must act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership. This involves translating complex technical requirements into compelling business cases and executive narratives to support GTM strategies and secure project buy-in.

Likely challenges to think through

  • Bridging Legacy Telecom Infrastructure with Cloud-Native AI

Integrating modern Agentic AI with legacy OSS/BSS, RAN, and Core network systems is inherently difficult. Prepare to discuss how you manage technical debt and integration patterns while ensuring production-ready reliability in a brownfield environment.

  • Balancing Innovation with Operational Stability

Driving autonomous network transformation risks disrupting critical service assurance. The challenge is to implement aggressive automation while maintaining network resilience; prepare to explain your approach to phased deployment and risk-mitigation frameworks.

  • Aligning Global Delivery Teams with Localized Requirements

As a lead for global teams, you face the difficulty of maintaining consistent architecture governance across diverse workstreams. Prepare to discuss how you establish reusable playbooks and frameworks that remain flexible enough for specific customer needs.
