Associate – Gen AI Full stack Engineer

The Associate – Gen AI Full stack Engineer joins Bain’s Private Equity Group Innovation Team (PIT) within its Bain Capability Network in New Delhi. The team develops technology for private equity due diligence and other stages of the investment lifecycle. This role primarily supports beta production of AI applications for the Due Diligence 2030 initiative, with significant work on Generative AI applications and potential contributions to broader process automation.

Responsibilities

• Write complex code for scalable, flexible, user-friendly applications; build, test, install and maintain product databases and backends.
• Develop secure, high-performance services and APIs, and maintain code quality and maintainability.
• Help plan acceptance testing and software implementation, including support that enables customers to adopt new software successfully.
• Evaluate technologies for potential adoption, including open-source frameworks, libraries and tools.

Requirements

• A stated minimum of 3–5 years of experience in database development on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including environment creation and management. The posting does not specify a separate overall experience minimum.
• Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL, including stored procedures, query performance tuning and index maintenance; strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL and WebSockets; and experience with data modeling and data warehousing principles.
• Collaborative teamwork, effective written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical senior stakeholders, and the ability to prioritize competing projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Docker and containerization is a plus. The position is permanent full-time; compensation and working arrangement are not specified.
