Associate Specialist, Algorithm Research & Development

The LS-SWIFT Division of KLA’s Global Products Group is seeking an Associate Specialist for Algorithm Research & Development to work on patterned wafer inspection systems for high-volume semiconductor manufacturing. The role focuses on designing, developing, and diagnosing complex machine learning and deep learning algorithms to support defect detection in semiconductor production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and diagnose complex ML and DL algorithms.
• Invent, prototype, and deploy new image processing algorithms and solutions.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree with 3 years of related experience, Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience.
• Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, or image processing.
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience training and deploying ML/AI models in production environments.
• Ability to develop model architectures from scratch and modify loss functions.
• Proficiency in object-oriented and functional programming.
