About this role
Kumaran Systems seeks an AI Technical Lead for its Banking department in Chennai, India. The full-time, offshore tech lead role requires 10–12 years of work experience and ownership of AI solutions from initial stakeholder discussions through production.
Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder interaction, solution conceptualisation, proofs of concept and feasibility work, and productionisation.
- Support pre-sales with solution proposals, customer engagement and planning. Create technical solution artifacts and guide the team in bringing solutions to production grade.
- Stay current with technology trends and apply relevant advances to solutions.
Required skills and experience:
- Design and develop multi-agent AI systems for business problems using an Agent SDK, A2A and MCP. Design GenAI solutions using RAG, agentic RAG, vector databases, and agentic orchestrator and planner patterns.
- Fine-tune LLMs such as Mistral and Olama with domain data; design evaluation and AgentOps for agentic AI solutions.
- Train artificial neural networks for NLP and computer vision problems, including object detection, transformer and prediction models.
- Demonstrate strong Python system design and development skills, along with experience in microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or Azure.
