About this role
Develop AI and machine learning applications and systems using AI tools and cloud AI services. Design cloud or on-premises application pipelines to production-ready standards, and apply generative AI models where appropriate. The role may also involve deep learning, neural networks, chatbots and image processing.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, collaborate with and manage the team, and take responsibility for team decisions.
- Work with multiple teams on key decisions and solve problems within the immediate team and across teams.
- Mentor junior colleagues and improve existing processes for greater efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of overall experience, including a stated minimum of 5 years with Amazon SageMaker; proficiency in Amazon SageMaker is required.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and services, experience deploying machine learning models in production, and familiarity with data preprocessing and feature engineering.
- 15 years of full-time education.
Preferred skills: Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
