This ABB FP&A talent-pool role in Bangalore focuses on delivering analytics and digital solutions for the business. Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to create and implement digital solutions, integrate digital platforms into customer business settings, and support their ongoing operation and upkeep.
• Lead analytics delivery from problem definition and data analysis through model development and presentation of insights, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Partner with senior leaders and subject matter experts to turn strategic objectives into analytics questions and identify opportunities for data-driven impact.
• Guide teams using statistical modelling, machine learning and optimization to produce insights and recommendations. Communicate complex results through data storytelling and visualization, oversee analytics demand and longer-term strategy, and mentor less experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• MBA or bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, economics or finance.
• 2–17 years of relevant experience in business analysis, data science or consulting in manufacturing, engineering or a related industry.
• Familiarity with Python or R and with data platforms or tools such as AWS, Azure, Tableau, Power BI or Qlik. Ability to apply regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis, optimization, simulation and generative AI in practical settings. Effective communication and leadership attributes are required.
• Beneficial: extensive understanding of finance, operations, sales, account management and supply chain.
