01

Understand the role

What matters most

  • Architecting Agentic-AI for Telecom Workflows

The primary objective is to design and deploy production-grade AI agents capable of handling complex telecom-specific tasks like log analysis, protocol troubleshooting, and code debugging. You must demonstrate proficiency in frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI, specifically focusing on RAG, ReAct patterns, and memory management.

  • Bridging Process Mining with Automation

You are expected to lead process mining initiatives to ingest event logs, identify bottlenecks, and translate these findings into automated, high-ROI workflows. This requires a strong foundation in BPM methodologies and the ability to use SQL, Python, or R to extract actionable insights from operational data.

  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Advisory

As a Staff Engineer, you must act as a strategic advisor to cross-functional units. You will need to translate operational challenges into scalable frameworks while driving the adoption of new automation technologies across the organization.

Likely challenges to think through

  • Balancing Legacy Systems with Modern AI

A significant challenge involves integrating cutting-edge Agentic-AI into fragmented legacy telecom workflows. Prepare by being ready to discuss how you evaluate automation readiness and calculate ROI for complex, non-standardized environments.

  • Ensuring Reliability in Autonomous Agents

Deploying agents in production requires robust error correction and reasoning models. You should prepare to explain your approach to handling agent hallucinations, tool-use failures, and maintaining system stability within critical telecom infrastructure.

  • Driving Adoption in High-Pressure Environments

Implementing process excellence often meets resistance. You will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders and drive cultural change, ensuring that your automated solutions are actually adopted and utilized by the teams they are intended to support.
