Ema is building AI Employees for HR, IT, and Finance, focusing on agentic AI in production. We are seeking an innovative Machine Learning Engineer to join our team to develop and deploy models that power our NLP, retrieval, ranking, reasoning, and code-generation systems. Responsibilities include implementing advanced algorithms like Transformer-based models, reinforcement learning, and agent-based systems; managing the full ML lifecycle from data exploration to deployment; and ensuring model robustness through A/B testing and automated validation. You will lead the analysis of complex datasets and communicate technical model benefits to stakeholders. Requirements: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related quantitative field; 7+ years of industry experience in building and deploying production-level ML models; deep expertise in NLP and LLM training/inference; proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch; and strong skills in SQL, ETL, and large-scale data systems. Experience with MLOps, cloud platforms (GCP/Azure), and software development principles is required. We value collaborative problem-solvers who thrive in fast-paced startup environments.
