Job Overview: Arm is seeking accomplished Software Engineers to join the IAS Networking team, focusing on developing and testing high-performance networking software leveraged by AI frameworks. You will work with cutting-edge technology, including development platforms, software models, FPGAs, and early silicon. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and optimize high-performance networking software on Arm platforms; create test cases and sample applications to ensure production-quality software; collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance networking stacks; automate CI/CD pipelines; contribute to open-source projects by developing, upstreaming, and maintaining code; and adapt to different layers of the networking software stack. Required Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in software development and optimization or software validation and test automation; high proficiency in C and C++; strong grasp of multicore processor architectures and low-level systems; experience developing tests and improving software quality; experience with distributed version control systems (e.g., Git); and clear, effective communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with open-source contribution processes; high proficiency in Python; hands-on experience with network I/O drivers and L2-L7 networking stacks (e.g., DPDK, VPP, Snort); experience with networking software stack components for AI applications (e.g., RoCE, libFabric, OpenMPI, NCCL, OneCCL); and familiarity with PyTorch-based training applications or concepts related to SDN and cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and CNIs.
