The Network Ops Intelligence team at Maersk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, engineer, and run capabilities for the Network Automation and Orchestration Tools stack. This role sits at the intersection of deep software engineering and applied AI, focusing on building production-grade platforms infused with Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic frameworks to transform network operations. Responsibilities include designing workflows for network automation, developing agentic AI solutions for autonomous troubleshooting, building scalable internal tools for observability, and implementing RAG workflows for context-aware insights. You will collaborate with Product Owners and Network SMEs to identify AI opportunities in telemetry analysis and event correlation, while driving architectural decisions and mentoring engineers. Required qualifications include 8+ years of experience, advanced Python proficiency, expertise in web frameworks (FastAPI/Flask/Django), API development, database management, and hands-on experience with LLMs and agentic frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain). Candidates should have a strong foundation in MLOps, AI security, and CI/CD practices. Preferred qualifications include experience in network operations, observability, time-series data platforms (Kafka, Prometheus, Elasticsearch), and Kubernetes. The position is based in Bengaluru and requires strong communication and negotiation skills to drive technical vision and business value.
