NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Autonomous Driving Software team in Bangalore, India. This role focuses on the development and integration of autonomous vehicle (AV) technologies, specifically supporting longitudinal/lateral assist, parking, and active safety features. Responsibilities include mapping customer requirements to AV capabilities, supporting vehicle integration (sensor/actuator interfaces, signal alignment, calibration, and diagnostics), and performing deep-dive analysis to resolve complex technical issues. Required Qualifications: BS or MS degree in engineering or computer science; 5+ years of relevant experience; proficiency with ADAS or autonomous driving software stacks; experience integrating AV functions like ACC, AEB, or APA on production or late-prototype platforms; knowledge of fault mapping, diagnostic routines, and calibration workflows; and experience with log/replay and KPI validation. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in functional development and testing using sensors such as camera, radar, lidar, GPS, and ultrasound; understanding of the integration between perception, planning, and control; experience in AV application and middleware development; and awareness of automotive certification and standards.
