About this role
As a Senior Software Engineer (AI) at Gresham, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade AI solutions to enhance product capabilities and engineering productivity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape AI strategy and drive innovation using Generative AI, Agentic AI, and cloud-native technologies. Responsibilities include building AI assistants, implementing RAG and semantic search, orchestrating multi-agent workflows, and establishing best practices for LLM evaluation, governance, and security. Requirements include a degree in Computer Science or a related field and 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on enterprise AI. Technical proficiency in Python, SQL, and either Java or .NET is required, along with hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama), AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex), and cloud/data platforms (AWS, Databricks, Spark). Preferred qualifications include experience with distributed systems, DevOps practices, and domain knowledge in Financial Services or Capital Markets. You will be expected to provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.
