The Senior Data Scientist will join the GBS Management team at Kraft Heinz to develop advanced time-series models for demand forecasting. This role involves building and testing statistical and machine learning models that will be deployed into production to drive value across all company brands. The successful candidate will partner with business users and product owners to identify modeling opportunities and define project next steps. Responsibilities: Develop advanced time-series models for demand forecasting using machine learning expertise. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define business problems. Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering on complex datasets. Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to optimize forecasting accuracy and efficiency. Evaluate and fine-tune models using statistical methods and real-world experiments. Communicate findings and insights to team members. Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience with predictive modeling, time-series analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. Proven experience building demand forecast models. Proficiency in Python and R, including libraries such as scikit-learn. Strong knowledge of factors influencing shipment demand. Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases. Experience with cloud-based services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
