Principal Architect - AI & Full Stack

Sigma Infosolutions Limited seeks a hands-on Principal Architect to divide time equally between client-facing solution architecture and AI innovation. The role calls for 8–12 years of experience and lists Bangalore, Ahmedabad, and Jodhpur as locations. The posting specifies 40 hours per week.

Solution architecture and technical engagement (50%):

• Architect secure, scalable, cloud-native, AI-enabled full-stack applications using React, Node.js, Python, and Go. Design multi-tenant and multi-brand SaaS platforms with tenant isolation and reusable, configuration-driven UI, workflows, business rules, integrations, permissions, and feature flags.
• Define API-first, event-driven and microservices or modular architectures. Govern architecture quality, code standards, testing, security, and production readiness; guide teams on design patterns, technical debt, DevOps, and deployment approaches using CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containers, Kubernetes, GitOps, and progressive delivery.
• Support pre-sales, solution planning, architecture reviews, and client discussions. Coordinate across geographically distributed teams and mentor engineers.

AI innovation and practice building (50%):

• Build and operationalize AI and generative AI solutions involving LLMs, model routing, embeddings, vector databases, hybrid search, RAG, tool calling, MCP, agent orchestration, guardrails, and AI observability. Lead proofs of concept from use-case discovery through evaluation, integration, and production-readiness assessment; practical production AI/GenAI experience is expected.
• Develop reusable AI services and tenant-configurable models, prompts, tools, knowledge sources, policies, and workflows. Define semantic-layer, ontology, and knowledge-representation architecture.
• Establish AI-assisted “Vibe Coding” standards and reusable agentic development workflows with code review, testing, security validation, documentation, and human oversight. Explore AI agents across the software development lifecycle and opportunities to improve productivity, automate processes, and create client capabilities.
• Help shape the AI roadmap, reference architectures, and Center of Excellence; assess emerging technologies, identify modernization and account-growth opportunities, run workshops and upskilling efforts, and support client demos, case studies, and proposals.
